Is He Siriusly Leaving? (NASDAQ: SIRI)

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP- While Sirius has been busy little bees in negotiating contracts with TV Stars: Oprah Winfrey and Martha Stewart, the company has still not determined the future of Howard Stern. The question is will he be back. Siriusly?

Stern the self proclaimed king of all media is in the final months of a contract that will expire on December 31, 2010. Stern has continued to hint at leaving Sirius when his contract expires. When asked about what he would do with the extra time; Stern replied "I would be happy, I am sure I would find things to do." He also added he would probably play chess for a few hours followed by more relaxation.

Shareholders and stakeholders are interested in the future of the Stern radio show. Some argue that due to Stern's $100 million a year production budget that it will be of benefit to Sirius if he retires. Art Linklighter a shareholder of Sirius disagrees "this is non sense, Stern brings in a large diverse audience and he is vital to the success of Sirius."

The question is will Stern be back and is this a material for Sirius stock.
