NEW YORK - Sprint Nextel Corporation the telecommunications company based in Overland Park, Kansas who has the third largest wireless network in the U.S. has shown strong results over the last month. Sprint is up 10% in the last month compared to a drop of 2% for AT&T and Verizon. The company will report its earnings on October 27th. The current estimate calls for a loss of 28 cents a share. Most analysts do not see Sprint returning to profitability until at least 2012.
