Restaurants Starve: CMG, DRI, MCD
Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) has been trading sideways for quite some time. The stock currently trades at a 45 PE and packs rapid growth - the highest of almost all restaurant stocks. CMG traded down $1.74 today or down 0.74%. McDonalds (NYSE: MCD) regained most of its losses today, closing down just 6 cents. The biggest loser in the restaurant business was Darden Restaurants (NYSE: DRI) which is best known for Red Lobster and Olive Garden. The stock was down 5.73% after the company reported. Darden said that it sees higher raw costs ahead.
