Apple which is the most valuable technology company in the world has shed few details on just what life may be like after Jobs. This is a concern since its products are tied to that of their creative leader. Apple is notorious for its secrecy. This secretive behavior when it comes to technology has also been apparent in relation to Jobs's health. In January 2009 Jobs said he would leave Apple until June; this time, Jobs gave no timetable on his return. During this interim period Jobs received a liver transplant, which was not reported until after the surgery had taken place.
Apple shares have fallen nearly 8% in Frankfurt trading on Monday which is part of the German Stock Exchange. Apple trades in Frankfurt under the symbol APC.F. Steve Jobs, now 55 told workers that he would take a leave to focus on his health. Jobs said he would still determine strategic decisions but that Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook will run the company in his absence. It is unclear how Jobs will make strategic decisions if his health continues to deteriorate.
