Tech Investors Fearful, TQNT, SWKS, AAPL, RIMM, Samsung

Fears that semiconductor companies TriQuint (NASDAQ: TQNT) won't be in the iPhone 4 for CDMA caused a major sell off in the market. Business would all be dominated by rival Skyworks Solutions (NASDAQ: SWKS), which also closed down considerably. However Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) refreshes its product line each year. Word on the street is that the iPhone 5 will house 7 PAs, which leaves plenty of room for TriQuint. Of course Skyworks, being the larger supplier has a dominant share in Apple's devices. In the article it was cited that TriQuint would indeed be present in the new device alongside Skyworks. In further news, both TriQuint and Skyworks have also been confirmed for the iPad 2 which should greatly benefit both companies. Skyworks Solutions and TriQuint Semi's chips are also present in a host of competitor's devices, including Samsung's mobile phones and tablets, as well as Research In Motion's (NASDAQ: RIMM) devices.
