Apple Inc Hits Another record High (SIRI, AAPL, VDSI, LNDC)



Sirius XM Radio Inc(NASDAQ:SIRI) shares are trading marginally  lower after showing smooth run up over the past months, ever since it crossed its 200-Day moving average and 50-day average. The stock has gained over 25% so far this year and over 30% over the past year. The stock has recovered over 80% from its 52-week low of $1.27 in October.
Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL) shares continued to show their roller coaster move and added another over 1% to hit new record high of $614.91 earlier in the session. The stock has been trending higher ever since it announce the updated version on iPad followed by its first dividend and buyback announcement after going public. Analysts are very bullish on the stock with majority of them have strong buy or buy ratings on the stock. Interestingly multiple analysts believe that the stock has potential to move above $700 soon considering the strong market for the tablet industry and strong brand popularity of the company.
VASCO Data Security International, Inc.(NASDAQ:VDSI) shares surged 7.75% to multi-month high of $10.72 as the company will replace O'Charley's Inc. (NASDAQ: CHUX) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Monday, April 2. Shares of the company have jumped over 64% so far this year and down over 9% over the past one year. The stock has been moving within 52-week range of $4.63-$14.72 with market capitalization of $410.47 million.
Landec Corporation(NASDAQ:LNDC) shares are showing very volatile move and was recent trading lower by 3.50% to $6.76 after surging over 6% earlier in the session following solid third quarter results. The company said that it earned 18 cents a share on revenue of $80.1 million, ahead of analysts estimates of 13 cents a share on revenue of $73.44 million. For the FY2012, the company now expects to grow its revenue by 9-10%, from earlier +5% growth. The stock made a new 52-week high of $7.44 earlier in the session.
