per share, as against $505 million or $2.60 per share in the prior-year
quarter. Adjusted net income for the quarter grew to $2.45 per share from $2.41
per share in the year-ago quarter. Sales for the quarter declined 4% to $4.45
billion. Analysts expected the company to earn $2.28 per share on revenue
estimate of $4.47 billion.

after the company posted second quarter net income of $184.5 million or $0.62

the prior year. Analysts expected the company to report earnings of $1.66 per
share on revenues of $2.70 billion for the quarter.
