The new iPhone 5, scheduled to be launched on September 12 according to general consensus, is expected to be a game-changer for the company and help it to get ahead of bitter rival Samsung in the smartphone segment.
Apple is however not advertising its new discounting strategy and its employees at its retail stores have also not been told the reason for the discounts.
