Apple issues official invites to the Press

Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL) has sent invitations to reporters for a press conference on September 12, the day of its much discussed event. The invite hints that the launch of iPhone 5 is on the cards. There is a big ‘12’ indicating the date of the event and the number casts a shadow in the form of ‘5’.

The phone is expected to be available to consumers on September 21. The new gadget will have a 4 inch screen and a taller display. It can also access the latest wireless data network in the U.S.. It will run on Apple’s iOS 6 operating system .
