Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 5 has Loads of Basic Upgraded Features

Finally the Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 5 has been launched and is currently the lightest of its predecessors and the thinnest smartphone in the market. It also has a 4-inch retina display and super-fast 4G LTE connectivity. Prices will be $199 for the 16-gigabyte model, $299 for the 32-gigabyte model, and $399 for the 64-gigabyte one. It will hit the floors on September 21.

Previous applications in the iOS have been upgraded such as the Calendar displaying a full five-day workweek, whereas the iWork suite will now offer usage of the expanded real estate. These apps will be letterboxed on the screen with black borders for the effect known as “pixel-perfect" rendering. The phone will be available in black and white – the former will have a black anodized metal back, whereas the white one will have a raw aluminum back.

The touch panel has been incorporated in the retina display, so as to make the screen appear sharper and thinner and reduce glares in the sun. Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller has said that the screen has full sRGB rendering and 44% better saturation of colors. The dock connector has 9 pins now and is called Lightning. The problem of compatibility with third party devices has been solved by an adapter that is being provided.

The 4G LTE connectivity is enhanced due to a dynamic antenna that helps to switch between connections simultaneously. The brand new A6 processor will provide twice as fast graphics and CPU performance. The battery life will not be affected negatively due to the inclusion of 4G LTE and A6 CPU – in fact the battery life will be better than the iPhone 4S.

Real Racing 3 has been upgraded to help the racing title to project real-time reflections in rear-view mirrors and the iSight camera has an 8-megapixel sensor, which has enhanced the image capture speed to about 40 times faster. The A6 processor helps to lessen noise and offer better color matching. The rear camera will not record high definition videos of 1080p and has better stabilization, whereas the forward-facing FaceTime HD camera is equipped with backside illumination and records 720p video.
