The much-awaited Apple
Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 5 may be all set to dethrone the iPhone 4S on 12th
September. However, this also means that users may be able to snap up on an
iPhone 4S for a bargain price. Nokia Corporation (ADR)(NYSE:NOK) is having
hopes to make users think twice before buying Apple’s iPhone. Let us watch what
the Finnish mobile giant has in store with the Nokia Lumia 920.
Design
and Build
Apple iPhone 4S is
approaching its first birthday but it still has enough sophistication, thanks
to its impeccable solid glass and aluminum design. On the other hand, Nokia
Lumia wears an eye-catching polycarbonate unibody shell. The phone comes in a
veritable rainbow of refreshing hues and colors. Its durable construction means
that users would not have to go through the pain of iShatter effect on dropping
the phone.
Screen
Lumia 920 comes with a
pixel-packed 1280x768 resolution that places it just a few pixels short of the
Retina Display in iPhone 4S, an imposing feat considering the fact that it is a
whole inch bigger. With the capability of automatic adjustment of colors and
anti-glare technology to boot, the Lumia 920 comes with an IPS LCD display that
is expected to do justice to Windows Phone 8’s bold colors and brusque clean
lines.
