Radian Group Inc.(NYSE:RDN) shares climbed 0.91% to
$4.66 in the early hour. The company released data for primary mortgage
insurance delinquencies for August 2012. In July and August, the company
completed two initiatives that will positively impact Radian Guaranty’s
statutory capital position in 2012. The company realized approximately $120
million in after-tax gains on securities in its investment portfolio.
Cheniere Energy, Inc.(NYSEAMEX:LNG) shares gained
4.07% to $16.36. The company, on August 31, said that it has applied for
regulatory approval to build a liquefied natural gas export plant at Corpus
Christi in Texas. Corpus Christi would export up to 15 million tonnes per year
of LNG, or about 2 billion cubic feet per day, by the end of 2017 and would
comprise three production units, called trains.

Halliburton Company(NYSE:HAL) stock increased 2.65%
to $35.18. Halliburton‘s stock had its “outperform” rating reiterated by
equities research analysts at FBR Capital in a research note issued to investors
yesterday. Additionally, analysts predict that Halliburton will post $3.21
earnings per share for the current fiscal year.
Arch Coal Inc(NYSE:ACI) shares climbed 4.70% to
$6.90. The company said that its senior vice president of marketing, David N
Warnecke, plans to retire in May 2014 after a span of more than 30 years. At
the end of 2012, Warnecke will transition to a new role to expand and
strengthen its transportation, logistics and supply chain capabilities in the
export arena, reporting to Paul A Lang, executive vice president and chief
operating officer.

NVIDIA Corporation(NASDAQ:NVDA) shares jumped 1.36%
to $13.46. NVIDIA stock was downgraded by equities research analysts at Cantor
Fitzgerald from a “buy” rating to a “hold” rating in a research note issued to
investors last week. They currently have a $13.50 price target on the stock,
down from their previous price target of $20.00.
