Netflix Falls On Analyst Note - INTC, AMD, ORCL, AMZN, NFLX


Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) shares fell 0.69% to $23.20. Citigroup lowered shares of Intel from a buy rating to a neutral rating in a report released on Sept. 13. Analysts expect that Intel will post $0.00 EPS for the current fiscal year. The company designs and manufactures integrated digital technology platforms. A platform consists of a microprocessor and chipset.

Additionally, Longbow Research lowered shares of Intel from a buy rating to a neutral rating in a report released on Monday.

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.(NYSE:AMD) shares declined 0.26% to $3.89 in the morning hour after Advanced Micro Devices stock was downgraded by equities research analysts at Longbow Research from a “buy” rating to a “neutral” rating in a research note issued to investors. Additionally, analysts expect that AMD will post $0.28 EPS for the current fiscal year.

Oracle Corporation(NASDAQ:ORCL) stock gained 0.08% to $32.97 after the company will visit the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square. In honor of the occasion, Frank Brienzi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Oracle Financial Services, will ring the Closing Bell.

Additionally, Oracle stock had its price target upped by Lazard Capital from $34.00 to $37.00 and the firm currently has a buy rating on the stock.

Amazon.com, Inc.(NASDAQ:AMZN) shares fell 0.50% to $259.97 in the early hour. The company will begin charging sales tax on purchases in California beginning Sept. 15. California passed a new law last year that requires Internet companies like Amazon to begin charging sales tax.

Additionally, the company recently introduced its new tablet computer costing $199 in order to attract consumers in one of the booming technology divisions.

Netflix, Inc.(NASDAQ:NFLX) stock dropped 4.54% to $57.77 in the early hour after Macquarie assumed coverage on shares of Netflix and the firm issued an underperform rating on the stock.
