Finally we have some details on the Apple
Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPad Mini.
Pictures have been published by UkranianiPhone.com,
that show that the headphone jack will remain on the top of the device like in
the current full-size iPad, Apple Insider reported.
The bottom of the device will have a space for Apple's
new, smaller lightning connector.
Unlike as in the case of the iPhone 5, components from
the rumoured device have not surfaced frequently ahead of its anticipated
debut.
Instead, most images online have been of mock-ups that
purport to show what the final design of the product will be, the report said.
There is a nano-SIM tray on the rear panel of the iPad
Mini
and this means that the device would be capable of
connecting to cellular data networks.
The alleged iPad mini front panel shows the thin side
bezel that was previously rumoured, and also space for a home button and a
forward-facing FaceTime camera. The front panel is white, suggesting the device
will come in both black and white varieties, observed Apple Insider.
There is a picture of the rear of the device where the
Apple logo is visible and the name `iPad' below that. The rear facing camera is
at the top left hand corner.
There have been reports of the iPad Mini being launched
on October 17 and the invites for the event are likely to be sent on October
10, while the actual sale of the devices are expected to be on November 2,
going by previous schedules of Apple in selling their products.
