people will be able to download recipes to print food, not food itself. Nearly
15 year horizon, however, prototypes are available right now.
Evans’ prediction is
based on the arrival of 3D printing, by which 3 dimensional objects can be
created additively with the help of a digital model.
Continuing the topic,
Evan also indicated that a new industrial rebellion due to technology.
Evans said that there
will be an industrialized revolution due to 3D printing, igniting a new wave of
innovation.
He has also pointed out
that increased artificial intelligence is becoming available through the
internet, on being asked what is in store next for cloud services. He said that
Watson, Siri and much more will be available to all devices, including cars.
On being asked by a
correspondent whether touch and voice commands are likely to take the place of
keyboard and mouse in the future, he had responded that they would not
completely replace but considerably displace them. Also, gesture commands will
be a popular interface on both smartphones and PCs.
