Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) Lumia 920 Priced At $149.99 Along With A Wireless Charging Pad


Prior to the announcement of AT&T Inc.(NYSE:T)’s Windows Phone 8 pricing, it seems that Nokia Corporation (ADR)(NYSE:NOK) has already confirmed the contract pricing for Lumia 920 smartphone. as per the mobile site of Nokia, an image of Nokia Lumia 920 was shown with a Live Tile revealing that the price of the device will be $149.99 and it will come with a two-year contract agreement on AT&T’s 4G LTE Network. Microsoft and AT&T have made it public that Lumia 920 would be exclusively available on AT&T’s network in the US.

As per WP Central, he contract price of Lumia 920 would take into account the cost for a wireless charging pad that would let users to plug in the charging pad to an outlet and users could just set their handset on top of the pad instead of shuffling around for a charger.

The price tag of $149.99 was leaked before through the presales of the handset on eBay and Best Buy. In both the cases, the non-contract price was enlisted as $600 even though Nokia and AT&T had not confirmed the price or any official date for release. The latest leaks indicate that the phone may be released on 11th November.

The Lumia 920 will be entering into competition with HTC’s Windows Phone 8X. Gottabemobile has reviewed the device and users may be impressed to see how the latest mobile OS of Microsoft stacks up on the best hardware of HTC.

The Lumia 920 is believed to come with a better PureView camera and double the storage capacity as compared to the one of HTC’s. Its display can be accessed with gloves on and also, there will be wireless charging features. With unibody constructions, users cannot expect to have a easy time replacing batteries on both HTC 8X and Nokia Lumia 920.
