Many of the networking, data centre, and cloud computing stocks took up huge gains today as the stocks propelled higher. Cloud computing has gained popularity as these companies continue to beat revenues. While their earnings do not show much as of yet, investors bet that the future will be quite profitable.
F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV) was up 7.54% today. The company trades at a current PE ratio of 70.61 due to its high growth.
Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) led the way higher by 8.83% after the company announced that it would be raising its prices, even for existing customers starting in January.
Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) rocketed higher by 2.26% to close at an all time high of $139.83. the stock has a PE ratio of 252.46.
Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) leaped up by 3.38%. The stock closed at $170.39 and trades with a PE ratio of 68.89.
VMWare Inc (NYSE: VMW) rose just 1.53% - a minuscule amount relative to its peers.
Limelight Networks (NASDAQ: LLNW) jumped up near the end of the day to close at $6.73.
