InterMune Inc (NASDAQ:ITMN) decreased 12.98% to $10.19.The
Company posted second quarter revenue of $5.5 million compared to analysts’
expectations of revenue of $40 million.
Net loss from continuing operations was $50.9 million or 78
cents per share compared to loss of $41.3 million or 70 cents per share in the
prior year period. However, analysts expected a loss of 23 cents per share. The
Company expects full year revenue from Esbriet to be between $20 million and
$25 million.

Silent Power Inc with solar panels from its Hanwha SolarOne unit.
Akorn Inc (NASDAQ:AKRX) plunged 8.66% to $13.61. Deutsche
lowered the rating on the stock from buy to hold and the price target is set at
$14.
