Revenue from the company's media networks segment increased   3% year-over year to $5.08 billion. Operating income at Cable Networks increased 1% to $1.9 billion in the third quarter due to growth at the domestic Disney Channels and ABC Family. Revenue from parks and resorts rose 9% to $3.44 billion in the third quarter.

Lamar Advertising Co (NASDAQ:LAMR) jumped up 10.60% to $34.84. The Company reported second quarter EPS of $0.15, below the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter was $304.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $304.16 million. The increase in profit was due to the revenue increase faster than its direct advertising expenses, though the company paid a much larger income tax charge. The Company expects revenue of $303-$306 million versus the consensus of $307.1 million.
