Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Constructions of New Store in Hong Kong Well Under Way

Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL) will go all out with its brand new international store in Hong Kong! The location of the store is at Causeway Bay's Hysan Place mall, which opened its doors in August. Construction is on in full swing on the other side of the tarp covering the huge glass front. Two floors of the mall will be occupied by the new store and a portion of the 3rd floor too, though it might not have an entrance inside.

A year ago, Hong Kong’s first Apple Store was unveiled in the International Financial Center Mall. The company spent $20 million in constructing the store, which provides a breathtaking view of Victoria Harbour and has Apple’s trademark iconic glass spiral stairwell. The second Apple Store is located at Kowloon's Festival Walk.

There are 373 stores all over the world, generating a revenue of $11.1 million per quarter. With US having the lion’s share of Apple Stores, 250 outlets, the company will now expand its tentacles internationally. China is a prime location for Apple stores – there are 5 stores in mainland China, due to the increased demand for the company’s products.
