Funds from operations, or FFO, for the quarter was $4.2 million or $0.04 per
share, compared to the year-ago FFO of $499 thousand or $0.01 per share. Core
FFO for the latest quarter was $5.9 million or $0.06 per share, compared to
$2.4 million or $0.03 per share last year. Total revenues for the latest
quarter rose to $34.50 million from $27.91 million in the same quarter last
year. Analysts expected the company to earn $0.12 per share on revenues of
$32.64 million for the quarter.
Eastman Chemical Company(NYSE:EMN) announced
earnings from continuing operations of $1.57 per diluted share for third
quarter 2012 versus $1.26 per diluted share for third quarter 2011. Reported earnings from continuing operations
were $0.99 per diluted share in third quarter 2012 and $1.22 per diluted share
in third quarter 2011.
The company announced that it has completed its
Saflex Q series advanced acoustic polyvinyl butyral (PVB) extrusion line in
Ghent, Belgium. The facility produces multi-layer rolls of Saflex® Q series
sheet for automotive applications.
Expedia Inc(NASDAQ:EXPE) stock increased 16.49% to
$59.70 after the company’s third-quarter profit dropped to $171.5 million or
$1.20 per share from $209.5 million or $1.22 per share last year. Adjusted
earnings rose to $1.32 per share from $1.28 per share a year ago. Income from
discontinued operations for the quarter was $1.5 million compared to $38.6
million last year. Third-quarter revenues grew 17 percent to $1.20 billion from
$1.02 billion last year. Analysts expected earnings of $1.26 per share on
revenues of $1.17 billion for the quarter.
Ingram Micro Inc.(NYSE:IM) reported third-quarter
net income of $53.3 million or $0.35 per share, as compared to $23.3 million or
$0.15 per share in the year-ago comparable quarter. Net sales for the latest
quarter increased 1% to $9.03 billion from $8.90 billion last year. Analysts
expected the company to earn $0.38 per share on revenues of $8.78 billion for
the quarter.
