The largest and the most famous
search engine seem to be on a revision mode for its mobile devices. Off late, Google
Inc(NASDAQ:GOOG) has made an update for its Nexus 10 tablet and the Nexus 4
smartphone. This update takes Google’s Nexus devices to Android 4.2.1, thereby
making it compatible to Nexus devices. Issuing revisions to the HSPA+ Galaxy
Nexus smartphone and the Nexus 7 tablet, these devices also reflects minor
augmentations. Noteworthy among these minor updates is a “fix for the glitch” that
deleted the month of December to the People contacts app.
Though the company has come up
with marginal updates, there has been not only some additional key fixes into
the most recent flavour of Jelly Bean. However, Android 4.2 ‘Jelly Bean’
highlights significant feature development when juxtaposed to the previous
version of Android 4.1 ‘Jelly Bean.’ There have been remarkable enhancements in
terms of speed and responsiveness on the Nexus 7 tablet, according to reports
and comments from the users. Tablet users can now operate multiple user
accounts through their device in addition to expandable and actionable
notifications, resizable widgets, gesture typing and a new Photo Sphere
function for supported devices. The update is available over the air.
