Banking Stocks Bounce (NYSE: BAC) (NYSE: PNC) (NYSE: C)
NEW YORK - Banking stocks rallied with the general market on Wednesday. PNC Financial soared up 0.7 cents or 1.3%. Bank of America vaulted higher in morning trade as investors breathed a sigh of relief over the potential charges the company will have to pay if they are the victim of whistle blowing charges. Though we have speculated that the amount that will be paid is likely to be nothing or quite small. Wells Fargo went long for 1.2%. And the always consistent Citigroup is higher at $4.27 in early morning trade.
