Two Major Rumors: Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) & Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG)

Google developing map app for Apple devices

There is good news for people who want Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Maps on their iPhones and iPads: a new Google app is on its way. There has been a lot of speculation about Google working on a map app for Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL), ever since the launch of iOS 6 which has an Apple maps app. According to a few sources who have refused to be named, Google’s new app should be ready in a couple of months.

The reason for the time lag is that Google didn't have an inkling that the Cupertino company would develop its own app. Apple's map service has however, not satisfied users because of errors like inaccurate addresses and wrong landmarks. These users want the Google Maps app back although the iPhone and iPad maker says that the app it has created will get better with time.
